Why a Home Phone?

One word – options. I may not want someone to have my cellular phone. If that becomes the case, and I have to provide a telephone number, than the home phone will be that number. The home phone will use my 412 number which is currently my cellular phone, but assuming that I will acquire my Ideal Phone Setup, I will move the 412 number from my cellular phone to my home phone service provider. This process will take about a week, but it would be worth it.

Using the home phone for things like pizza delivery or when a company needs to contact me for home reasons. I could also just use my home phone for regular phone reasons. There is no law requiring that I must use my cellular phone. It is just what most people will expect when someone calls them. Because I have a home phone, I could contact support if something went wrong with my iPhone. I could also use my home phone to call my cellular phone. I am sure there were times you misplaced your phone, and called yourself from another person’s phone to find your phone. I don’t get visitors regularly, so asking to use someone’s phone is not normally an option.

When the house phone rings, then there will likely be a wifi? phone that will ring. I will likely always carry the home phone with me, and that would allow me to always be able to make and receive calls. When someone calls the 412 number, this will just go to the wifi phone. For me to receive one call on the 412 and 878 numbers, the caller will wish to call the 855 number.
